In July 2022 three parishes, Infant Jesus of Prague in Flossmoor, St. Lawrence O’Toole in Matteson and St. Irenaeus in Park Forest, formed one bigger Family. This new journey provided a great opportunity to unite our efforts in our common mission to bring the light of Christ to our communities. After some discussions St. Veronica very clearly became our model of service. She who courageously served Jesus in time of need, continues to inspire us to recognize Christ’s face in the Sacraments and in our brothers and sisters. As we journey together in faith, St. Veronica Parish remains a steadfast foundation, anchoring us in God’s love and grace. It is not just a church; it is a home where souls find nourishment, belonging, and the strength to carry out God’s work in the world.
Our Mission Statement
St. Veronica is committed to growing in our Catholic faith through formation, fellowship, service, working for social justice and building a community of love; nourished by the sacramental life we are called to become missionary disciples.
